Who's Eligible

You’ll need to:

Be a regular, active community instructor
Submit required materials in advance
Be present and flexible for your potential slot
Be ready to teach with confidence, clarity, and professionalism

This is a spotlight for community instructors ready for a full-room, full-energy experience.

What You'll Submit

Keep it focused and fuss-free:

Completed entry form
A recent teach video of YOU!
3 dances (with level + choreographer[s]) you would be ready to teach at PS Winter Break if fortune finds you!

Final dance selections are fine-tuned before the drawing to fit the flow of the full weekend.

The Format

Each night, we host a live Flamingo Fortune Lucky Draw:

Thursday night: Drawing for Friday’s teaching slot

Friday night: Drawing for Saturday’s teaching slot

Saturday night: Drawing for Sunday’s teaching slot

✔ One entry per instructor per drawing

✔ Fully fair — no favorites, no fluff, no bonus entries

Teaching Preview

Submit a short teach video (5–15 minutes) showing your real class style.

We’re looking for:

Clear, confident communication
Strong cueing + musical feel
Positive presence and flow
A teaching style that feels fun, focused, and easy to follow
